Motorized, computer-controlled braces and frames are helping some people with paralysis walk again. MossRehab's Chief Medical Officer Alberto Esquenazi, MD, joined a panel of experts recently to discuss how these exoskeletons work and how they may be used in the future.
MossRehab launched the first clinical trials in the U.S. for one of these exoskeletons - ReWalk - in 2009, and is proud to have played a part in development of the device, which has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in hospitals and at home.
