We are so grateful to have had an amazing virtual week for the 51st Camp Independence. We are looking forward to being back in person for 52nd Camp Independence 2023 (subject to change).
The most important factor in this decision is the health and wellbeing of our campers, our campers’ families, and our staff. Please note all staff and campers who desire to work or attend Camp Independence August 12, 2023, through August 19, 2023, will need to provide proof of being fully COVID-19 vaccinated no latter July 29, 2023 (exemption for medical or religious exemption request for will be reviewed.)

Summer Fun for Adults with Physical Disabilities
MossRehab has invited adults with physical disabilities to enjoy sports, swimming, art, fishing, campfires, music and friendship every summer since 1971 at Camp Independence, a week-long, overnight camping program for individuals 18 years of age and older.
Camp Independence is the only overnight recreation program for adults with physical disabilities in Pennsylvania and is a recipient of the prestigious Recognition Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Please support this beloved program that campers look forward to all year long. Staffing and maintaining Camp Independence depends on the support of generous donors, like you.
