ReoTherapy helps restore the arm’s gross motor skills after loss due to a
stroke or brain injury.
This form of therapy is similar to playing a video game in that it uses a robotically assisted joystick called a Reo. As the patient sits facing a video screen, the joystick is moved toward a target on the screen. At first the Reo moves the joystick. Over time, as the patient gains strength through repetitive movement, the patient’s arm controls the joystick movement independently.
