Dennis Magrann, OTR/L, CDRS, program manager for the MossRehab Driving School, recently discussed safe driving for seniors in an article for Advance for Physical Therapy and Rehab Medicine magazine.
"Every aspect of physical and occupational therapy is seeing an increase in the number of older patients, and there is certainly a correlation in driver rehab," Magrann told the magazine, and went on to explain the specific needs of older patients when it comes to driving.
MossRehab Driving School helps people with disabilities (including older individuals) gain the skills to become safe, competent drivers.
