MossRehab, part of Einstein Healthcare Network and a U.S. News & World Report top-ten “Best Hospital for Rehabilitation” was recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com as one of the Greater Philadelphia Area’s “Top Workplaces” for the ninth year in a row. MossRehab, which falls in the Large Company division was ranked 12th overall and was the highest-ranking hospital.
"Recognition for nine years in a row as a Top Workplace, as nominated by our employees, is a great acknowledgment of the teamwork and the commitment we have to serving our patients, including those with the greatest needs,” said Alberto Esquenazi, MD, chief medical officer and John Otto Haas Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for MossRehab. “This is a clear reflection of the Challenge Accepted philosophy and effective team care of everyone at MossRehab.”
What makes the recognition special is that workers/staff nominate their organization and then fill out a survey expressing how they feel about where they work. Categories that are measured include:
- Alignment– where the company is headed, its values, and leaders
- Execution – how the company is getting to where it aims to go
- Connection – feeling appreciated and that their work is meaningful
In addition, three My Job factors measure how employees feel about their day-to-day job:
- My Work – training, work/life balance
- My Manager – cares about concerns, helps learn and grow
- My Pay & Benefits
