Orthopedic Residency

Orthopedic Residency

The MossRehab Orthopedic Residency is an intensive, one-year experience combining clinical mentoring and didactic learning. The program is in line with the American Physical Therapy Association's Vision 2020 plan, which stresses the increasing need of residency/fellowship education within a doctoring profession.

Residents can expect a diverse learning experience from MossRehab therapists, physiatrists and orthopedic surgeons in the Einstein/MossRehab Network.  The program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning environment, with ample time to work alongside physical therapists certified in orthopedics.

The 50-week residency program comes with a full time salary as well as medical benefits and is structured as a 32-hour work week. The MossRehab Orthopedic Residency has each resident practice and receive mentoring utilizing rotations at several MossRehab locations. Each week will allow for four-to-six hours of lecture and lab instruction, in addition to four hours of mentored one-to-one patient care. Working alongside your mentors allows for continued exposure to techniques and patient care and creates an ongoing learning atmosphere.
