Schomburg Symposium, titled Covid-19: A Color Canvas of Inequality, will address how people of African descent are the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as limited choices due to high-risk jobs, limited access to quality healthcare, poorer living conditions, and poorer communities place them at higher risk for infection as well as for illness severity and mortality.
