KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Kevin Pearce

Kevin Pearce is a champion snowboarder, sports commentator, motivational speaker, and advocate for those affected by traumatic brain injuries and Down’s Syndrome. At age 18, Kevin soared onto the professional snowboard stage, winning over ten snowboarding competitions all over the world, including four medals at the X Games. While training for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Kevin sustained a traumatic brain injury. His ongoing rehabilitation and training have been inspirational to both the international snowboard community and fans around the world. Kevin is the subject of the 2013 documentary, The Crash Reel. Kevin’s talk will focus on the importance of family, friends and support in overcoming obstacles. He will also touch on always looking forward to the next opportunity, no matter what life throws in your way.
