Community Residence Program
The Community Residence Program provides a convenient town-living arrangement for survivors of brain injury. Combined with Drucker’s other programs, the Residence offers brain injury patients a place to develop productive living skills.
Taking a team approach, comprehensive treatment plans are custom-made for each patient to regain the skills necessary to engage in a full, enriching role in the workplace, at school, at home and in the community. Services are provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
- The Community Residence Program serves individuals who have sustained brain injury ranging in age from 18 to 65.
- Patients must have a rating of at least 4 on the Ranchos Los Amigos Levels of Cognitive Functioning Scale.
- Patients served have a diagnosis of acquired brain injury and may exhibit medical, emotional, behavioral and cognitive deficits related to brain injury.
- Patients must meet the Pre Admission Screening nursing facility standards, and will have demonstrated either a physical or cognitive skill deficit in one or more categories of activities of daily living such as self care, household skills, budgeting and financial management, and self-medication.
Assisted living support services are unique approaches to the Community Residence Program.
