Yoga for People with Parkinson's

A group of people sitting in a circle with the palms of their hands facing each in front of their hearts.

Research has shown that yoga can be a beneficial practice for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, with the potential to improve flexibility, mobility, and overall sense of well-being. Join us at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation - Center City for our new weekly yoga class specifically for people with Parkinson’s.

Group members will participate in sequences linking movement, breath, and mindfulness in a supportive environment, led by a physical therapist or yoga therapist. The class can be performed from a chair and will accommodate varying levels of mobility, with standing and floor movement options available.
