MossRehab Reissued CARF Accreditation

Jan 05 2021

Considered the gold standard in the field of medical rehabilitation, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF) announced that MossRehab has been reissued Three-Year accreditation for 15 of its medical rehabilitation programs. Three-Year Accreditation is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and receiving it signifies that MossRehab has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, are measurable, and accountable.

"MossRehab is extremely proud to have our work recognized by CARF, as demonstrated by this most recent Three-Year accreditation," said Julie Hensler-Cullen, Director of Quality and Education, MossRehab. "Every nurse, doctor, therapist, social worker, psychologist and other team members walk the walk and talk the talk of MossRehab's mission: to improve the lives of persons with physical disabilities.   Of course, while CARF accreditation is certainly evidence of this mission driven commitment, the truest testament to our level of care is the patient outcomes themselves."

The 15 programs that received Three-Year Accredidation, and are found throughout our facilities are:

1)   Home and Community Services: Brain Injury Specialty Programs (Adults)

2)   Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs-Hospital (Adults)
