Services

Some areas that pediatric therapy addresses:

Occupational therapy

Our experienced occupational therapist treats a variety of pediatric conditions.  They can help when a child has difficulty with activities of daily living, such as getting dressed.  They also help when a child has difficulty with following directions, sensitivity to textures or foods, or keeping up with peers during play. Occupational therapy also can assist children coping with fine motor delays or deficits such as ability to pick up objects with their hands, handwriting or using scissors.

Physical therapy

Our physical therapists are experts in treating children for gross motor delays or deficits such as in rolling, sitting and walking. They assist children in returning to their prior level of ability after an injury. They also specialize in a variety of diagnosis such as in helping babies with torticollis (positioning their head to only one side) and children who will only walk on their toes.

Speech therapy

Our speech and language pathologists are experts in treating children with a variety of speech delays or deficits. They help when a child has difficulty in understanding and following directions, decreased ability in social interactions, and decreased eye contact.  They also are experts when a child is having difficulty with feeding, such as transition to solid foods.
