MossRehab Running Clinic
Running has become increasingly popular over the last few years and with more people running, injuries are becoming more common. Some injuries come and go, but for aches, pains and ailments that keep you from running for an extended period of time, an in-depth evaluation and treatment by a clinical team specializing in running injuries is necessary.
The MossRehab Running Clinic is comprised of physical therapists who specialize in running injuries. From elite athletes to novice runners alike, we evaluate, treat and educate runners how to reach their highest level of performance. MossRehab clinicians utilize the most current evidence-based treatment and technology to optimize your return to running.
Is there a correct way to run? MossRehab physical therapist John Feeley and podiatrist Ira Meyers, D.P.M., are looking for an answer.
The two researchers are recruiting people who run about 1,000 miles per year - 20 miles per week - and have been doing that for at least two years. The runners will be video taped in the MossRehab Gait and Motion Analysis Laboratory and then analyzed in slow motion. In particular, Feeley and Meyers want to see if there is any correlation between gait and history of injury.
If you meet the criteria and would like to assist by participating in the study, please complete this form and MossRehab will be in touch with you.
