Specialty Programs

  • The Hand Center treats hand injuries resulting from trauma, repetitive motion and accidents. Under the direction of physicians, trained therapists develop individualized treatment programs that help people return to work and active lives.
  • Aquatic Therapy helps people with arthritis, back injury, joint replacement surgery and other conditions. Treatment in our 8,800-gallon heated pool is designed to improve strength, range of motion and mobility. The Arthritis Aquatics Program is a group exercise program, performed to music and overseen by licensed physical therapists. The instructors are trained and certified by the Arthritis Foundation.
  • The Back Program offers comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans, under the direction of physical and occupational therapists. Program participants learn pain management techniques and exercises and receive therapy in a heated pool. The goal is to minimize the pain associated with back pain, and to keep it from reoccurring.
  • Pediatric Rehabilitation specializes in caring for children from birth to 18 years of age. Spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay and severe orthopaedic disorders are among the issues we address.
