Dr. Schwartz is a clinical assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and served his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Veterans Administration Center in Philadelphia. He has also pursued further training at the Missouri Arthritis Rehabilitation Research and Training Center in St. Louis. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Schwartz received the Continuing Medical Education Award of the American Medical Association. He holds a certificate of added qualification in spinal cord medicine from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Schwartz has presented at local and national meetings and participates in research to spinal cord injury rehabilitation. |
