Michael Saulino, MD, PhD is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, spinal cord injury medicine and pain management. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His areas of interest include:
Committed to medical education and training, Dr. Saulino is an assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University -- Jefferson Medical College. From 2001 to 2005, he served as residency program director in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is also an adjunct professor of occupational therapy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Saulino earned both his MD and PhD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University, where he became chief resident in his final year of residency training. Philadelphia magazine has recognized Dr. Saulino again as a 2009 “Top Doc” for pain management. He has published and lectured nationally and internationally on intrathecal medication use and is currently involved in research in this area. |
