Offers Fun and Recreation this Summer for Adults with Physical Disabilities

Philadelphia, PA, May 6, 2008 MossRehab invites adults with physical disabilities to enjoy the fun and friendships of summer camp at Camp Independence. Now in its 38th year, Camp Independence is a week-long, overnight, camping program for individuals 18 years of age and older. This year’s program will be held June 15 to June 21. Located at the Musser Scout Reservation Camp Garrison at 4021 Upper Ridge Road in Pennsburg, Montgomery County, the camp provides activities such as sports, swimming, art, music and much more. MossRehab also provides assistance to campers with personal care needs during their stay.

There is an open application period for the camp, which includes signed physician approval. Campers must arrange for their transportation. The cost for the camp is $550, plus a $10 registration fee. For more information or to request an application, call 215-663-6295.
