More than 20,000 people in the Delaware Valley live with aphasia, a communication disorder resulting from stroke or traumatic brain injury. In order to offer assistance to people with this disorder, MossRehab established the Aphasia Center. The center provides state-of-the-art clinical and computer therapies, educational and outreach programs and opportunities to participate in research projects. Also available are activities that provide opportunities for people with aphasia and their families to meet in an understanding and supportive environment. Recognized as a national leader in rehabilitation, MossRehab provides high-quality, compassionate medical care for individuals with physical disabilities. MossRehab treats many types of physical disorders, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, amputation, spasticity/impaired movement, spinal cord injuries, orothopaedic injuries, and aphasia.
