The Lokomat is a robot assisted, gait training device. During training, the Lokomat assists the impaired muscle groups during the gait cycle to promote a smoother, more efficient gait pattern. MossRehab is one the few facilities in the nation to offer this piece of assistive technology.

The body weight support system helps modulate the intensity of the training session by allowing the individual to work harder as the individual progresses through their course of care. The Lokomat can be beneficial to patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and most neurological conditions.
